Content and Code’s Technology Enablement team partner with organisations to plan, prepare and migrate to Microsoft 365 productivity and security technologies. Our close relationship with Microsoft allows us to keep up with emerging practices and evergreen service changes, ensuring robust and forward-facing solutions. We have a broad range of clients in numerous industry verticals including financial services, construction, retail and public sector and deployment size ranges from 200 to 50,000 seats.


The Role

Our Technical Engineers primarily deliver implementation and migration activities for Office 365 (particularly SharePoint Online and/or Exchange Online) and the Microsoft identity ecosystem. Implementation and support experience with these technologies is essential, along with a passion for Microsoft technology and a willingness to learn. A working knowledge of Microsoft Teams and/or Skype for Business is preferred but not essential.

The successful candidate can expect to be exposed to the broader Microsoft 365 suite, including security and compliance technologies available within the Enterprise Mobility + Security (EMS) suite.

Responsibilities include:
• Support project delivery to include:
o Environment preparation
o Infrastructure implementation and support of other team members
o User transition and support in upgraded platforms
o Transition from delivery into Managed Services
• Deliver files, messaging and unified communications implementation, migration and support activities in projects in accordance with the Content and Code Project Delivery Framework
• Escalate appropriate challenges to Technical Consultants/Architects
• Support the wider project and operational teams
• Ensure that technical understanding of each service component and application, its architecture and configuration is handed over to BAU support for both client and managed service teams

Required skills and capabilities
• Successfully implemented/supported Office 365 and supporting identity technologies.
• Understanding of Identity Management Solutions aligned to Office 365 including Azure AD, Azure AD Connect and AD FS
• At least one of the following:
o Expertise in Exchange Server on-premises and Exchange Online, including an understanding of mail archive systems and migration strategies
o Expertise in SharePoint Server on-premises and SharePoint Online
• At least one of the following:
o Successfully supported/deployed Exchange migration projects to Exchange Online using Hybrid migration methodology or third-party tools
o Successfully supported/deployed SharePoint OR OneDrive for Business migration projects (on-premises or cloud)
• At least one of the following:
o Understanding of the concepts of Exchange Online migration tools from vendors such as MigrationWiz, TransVault and Quadrotech. Equivalent tooling will also be considered.
o Understanding of SharePoint and OneDrive for Business migration tools from vendors such as Metalogix, AvePoint and Sharegate. Equivalent tooling will also be considered.
• Understanding of networking infrastructure (TCP/IP, Proxies, Firewalls, Load Balancing)
• Understanding of server platform requirements (AV, Windows Server 2003/2008/2012, IIS)
• Understanding of Active Directory Domain Services (AD, DNS)
• Understanding and capability using PowerShell, particularly relating to Office 365 services and Azure AD
• Education: Computing-related Degree or equivalent industry experience
• Experience working for a consulting organisation in a professional services environment
• Knowledge and deployment/support experience with Lync Server 2010/2013 and Skype for Business Server 2015, Skype for Business Online
• Understanding of mobility/BYO management concepts and services such as BlackBerry Enterprise Server, Android and iOS.
• Knowledge and deployment/support experience of SCOM, SCCM and/or Intune
• Microsoft Certification: MCSE, MCITP, MCSA in Exchange, Office 365 and/or Lync 2013
